Customer: International Finance Corporation (IFC), 2030 Water Resources Group (2030 WRG)

Objective: Provide strategic and technical support to the IFC and 2030 WRG team in India for the development of the Corporate Action for Water Security program (CAWS). CAWS aims to create a significant cumulative impact through improvement of rural livelihoods, enhancement of food productivity and achievement of water savings by active involvement of the corporate sector.

How we did it: We supported the team with various missions to North Gujarat, Maharastra, Uttar Pradesh and Madya Pradesh. We provided the IFC and 2030 WRG team with knowledge and information on the water situation in the localities and identified potential projects and strategies. The water security programme for Aurangabad, Maharastra was selected. There we supported the team in the engagement of corporate, government and NGO stakeholders towards collective action for water security.
